Travel Sickness, Mozzies and Tummy Troubles

You don't have to be going far to suffer from travel sickness but it is especially unwelcome at the beginning of your holiday. That horrible feeling of nausea, accompanied by pallor, cold sweat and dizziness, will make you wish you'd never left home.

Never mind. When you get to your holiday destination you will soon feel well enough to go out and meet the local insects. They will be pleased to see you too and may well show their appreciation by taking a blood sample to remember you by.

At least the food is delicious. Except that after dinner you feel a twinge of indigestion which rapidly turns into an urgent command. Before you know it you've become extremely attached to the loo.

Here are just a few of many natural solutions for these common conditions.

TRAVEL SICKNESS - Ginger is a traditional sickness remedy. Take before travelling.
Ainsworth's homeopathic Travel Sickness combination is usually effective. Take one 20 mins before travelling.

INSECT BITES - To prevent being bitten take Vitamin B1 up to 500mg daily, starting 7 days before travelling. Scent yourself with Citronella, Lavender, Eucalyptus or Tea Tree essential oils to deter insects.
Once bitten, Apis is the homeopathic remedy to take for an area that is red, swollen and painful to touch. Any type of bite, insect or otherwise, can be treated with Ainsworth's Anti Bite tincture.

TUMMY TROUBLE - Prepare by taking a probiotic supplement in advance. Carry homeopathic remedies Arsen. alb.(food poisoning) and Nux vom. (hangovers).
